Cambridge Union Wedding Photographer
It’s an absolute pleasure to be a Cambridge Union Wedding Photographer! Right in the centre of Cambridge, Cambridge Union is the oldest debating society in the world! It’s building also happens to be a fantastic space for a wedding. The debating chamber is perfect the wedding breakfast and the evening party. What I found more surprising was the upstairs library area for the wedding ceremony itself. The amount of natural light that pours into that room is truly amazing! It’s a really beautiful space for a ceremony. In fact, I’d go so far as it say it’s one of the best I’ve ever seen, even having photographed hundreds of weddings!
The courtyard area is also lovely on a summers day and although you might not get exclusive use of the outdoor area as The Orator also use it, it still works as a nice relaxed spill out area from The Union. Great for confetti, group shots and some cocktails in the sun!
I also really liked Cambridge Union’s central location. Alice, Adam and I made the most of this and took a couple of little walks around the city to get a few fun, relaxed photos of them enjoying their time together.

They wanted a wedding full of joy and fun and they certainly succeeded in that! Most importantly they were just up for being themselves and having a great time. It was up there with one of my favourite ever weddings to photograph!
