We hired Winston for our wedding at FY Camp in Norfolk, and we truly cannot thank him enough! He provided us with a beautiful photo gallery and highlight video that we will be looking through for the rest of our lives. Winston somehow managed to capture every single thing that made our day special. It is so amazing to see all those moments of joy brought to life, especially since the day itself went by in such a blur! Beyond his incredible talent, he is a genuinely kind person. All of our guests commented on how lovely he was, and it truly felt like having an extra guest at our wedding rather than just a vendor. If you are looking for an incredibly talented, professional, and kind photographer, we highly recommend Winston! The samples my sister has shared that we’ve seen so far are fantastic can’t wait to see the rest! Starting with everyone getting ready and finishing with the first dance and the celebrations at the end of the night. We had a zoom call and a meet up beforehand and discussed everything we wanted and expected on the day. He made the whole experience incredibly easy and relaxed, and made sure we’d discussed all the shots we wanted beforehand. After the ceremony, he was really thoughtful and made sure my wife and I had some time together, and the three of us had a great time taking photos on the beach. So many of our guests commented on how friendly he was and how it felt like he was just another guest taking photos – he fit in so perfectly and put everyone at ease and everyone said if they ever needed a photographer for any event, they would all choose him. We also chose one of his new highlight films, which was brilliant. It was such an easy option and meant we didn’t need a separate videographer, as he could do everything at once. It came out beautifully and allowed us to relive the ceremony, speeches and the rest of the day in a way that photos alone might not have captured. We were blown away by the quality of the photos and film, he captured our day so perfectly. We would 100% recommend Winston to anyone getting married, we loved him and the highlight reel is so worth the extra!Winston is an amazing photographer and a lovely person to be around on your special day, and we would thoroughly recommend him. On the logistics, he is very friendly, patient, kind, responsive, calm and thorough. He listened to what we wanted and then just captured everything perfectly - quietly, naturally and smiling all the time! It meant we could be ourselves and in the moment, rather than being ‘on a photo shoot’ - and that mattered to us. A lot of the time we didn’t really realise he was there. On the day we had the best time ever and Winston captured the joy, excitement and happiness we felt amazingly well! The photos are natural and perfectly tell the story of our day and how we and our guests felt. It’s almost as if he managed to bottle the day in every shot - somehow preserving the sparkle and fizz forever. Winston also took some wonderful photos for us with our dog on the beach a number of weeks before the wedding. Our pup was too young to be involved in the day and we wanted a photo of the three of us on a welcome board as guests arrived. Again, the photos are brilliant and so natural. Winston loves dogs and understood how to photograph black dogs (not easy to see their expressions sometimes due to their colouring). It was also an opportunity for us to get to know Winston better ahead of the wedding. He made us feel very relaxed and we enjoyed every moment of what felt less like a photo shoot and more like a walk on the beach with a friend. If you are looking for a photographer for your wedding or one to capture another special moment with family, friends or your pets, have a chat with Winston. From the offset, he picked up on things that made our wedding unique and genuinely felt excited for us rather than it just being another job. He really listened to what we wanted and made suggestions based on this, never pushed anything that made us uncomfortable. He completely fit our vibe which can be difficult when you looking for someone to be compassionate during the pre ceremony nerves, command a large rabble for a group shot and seamlessly blend into the party. Winston was all these things, putting people at ease and making them laugh. So many of our guests commented (out if the blue) about how lovely and sweet Winston was and how stunning the photos were. The wedding day can sometimes feel like a blur but we're so thankful to have Winston's wonderful photos and video to look back on. This review really doesn't do him justice. He's a great photographer and just a real good guy.Hands down the best photographer we have EVER met. From the moment we first spoke he made us feel so comfortable and just seemed to get us. Nothing we asked for was silly and was willing to try any shot. He captured our wedding so perfectly. From start to end was just fantastic. Would recommend a hundred times over. It was so easy to organise everything with Winston ahead of our day - we had an initial zoom call to get to know each other a little bit, then exchanged emails and dealt with our booking (paying deposits etc) through his secure website. We then met Winston (and his adorable dog Maple!) for a drink the week before to run through all the details for our day - it was great seeing how seriously Winston was taking all the organisation and detail, we definitely felt we could trust Winston straight away. Winston offers various options and add-ons for photos and short film, with option for ordering prints and album through his website - really easy to pick and choose the ideal package. On the day itself Winston arrived bang on time and went to work straight away. He was so cheery and enthusiastic, it really made us feel at ease in front of the camera. The day started with Winston getting some shots of us getting ready, then at the venue Winston captured the ceremony perfectly, after then all our key group photos were taken, we had some time for couple photos, and then Winston was able to flit around and blend into the background to take some lovely candid photos of our guests during the day and into the evening. We had so many of our guests mention how impressed they were with Winston, and how friendly he was. And he kept up that lovely enthusiastic friendly energy all day! After the day Winston has kept in touch regularly via email to give us updates on how he was getting on editing our photos. We got a handful of preview photos after a week, then a lovely highlights slideshow about three weeks after that, with full gallery available a few days after that, then our short film a couple weeks after that. We love all of it! The photos are beautiful, and the video is lovely - wonderful record of our day! We thoroughly recommend Winston to anyone looking for a wedding photographer!Winston was very engaging from our first conversation and a delight to be with on the day. From our first zoom meeting (featuring one lovely dog- an instant 5 stars from us 😃) we knew we’d have no regrets, but were not prepared for how how well you would capture the emotions, relationships and moments that still leave us in happy tears whenever we look through our photos. You took the time to get to know us and were 100% on board with what we were trying to do; your genuine excitement in the build up was lovely. I went into picking a photographer with very specific requirements as I wanted the photos themselves to be beautiful and have them really capture the feel of the day. After chatting with a few and looking at portfolios we went with Winston and I'm so glad we did. He's such a lovely person, so easy to deal with when booking and going through photos post wedding. He was really friendly, relaxed and professional. Roll on the wedding day having been delayed a year - which Winston accomodated and fixed his costs - and we think every single guest fell completely in love with him throughout the day. The number of times we've been told how lovely our photographer was during and since is incredible. He managed the people and ensured we got all the formal shots we wanted, so many candids throughout the day and despite the weather (full storms all day) we even managed to get some beautiful outside shots, which we've been previewed already. His communication prior to and during the day was top notch, everything was very easy to do and his website was straight forward and secure in terms of contracts, payments and amendments. The online galleries are very well layed out, easy to navigate and allow us to not only view and download the high quality photos, but send gallery links to friends and family to view and order prints. It's a high quality service from a high quality professional - who feels like an old friend from the moment you meet him. Absolutely worth every penny and we couldn't haved asked for more from him. He has been and will forever be recommended by us to anyone who asks.We could not recommend Winston enough. Our original photographer unfortunately tested positive for Covid the day before our wedding + Winston stepped straight in. We messaged back and forth the night before and Winston was incredibly friendly and really put us at ease. We met Winston the morning of our wedding (I mean we absolutely love to do things in style!!) and from the moment he walked in the door to the moment he left, he was fantastic.
