Yes absolutely! So far Australia has been the furthest! I love shooting in my hometown of Norwich but a bit of travel and new venues keeps things interesting! I’m also a regular at tons of lovely Suffolk/Cambs/Essex venues, Hadsham Farm, Oxfordshire and various London venues like The Asylum Chapel, Balfour St Bart’s, One Whitehall Place and Islington Town Hall.

People often say how happy everyone looks in my photos. That’s because I absolutely love photos full of joy! I love photos like that of my own family and love capturing scenes overflowing with happiness for other people too. To be able to do that I’m good at making people feel at ease (even if they don’t like having their photo taken), and I capture real emotions. No fake posing. Just the real joy people feel on a wedding day, captured so that you can feel it again and again!

Yes! I am a hybrid shooter. I’d love to create a beautiful highlight film for you.

Yes! I love capturing a full wedding day and the roller coaster of emotions associated with it. However mid-week or during off-season I also really enjoy capturing intimate micro weddings at Norwich Castle and other Norfolk wedding venues.

You’ll receive hundreds of beautifully edited photos for you to download in your own online gallery. From there you can order prints and share them with your friends and family. I can also make you a beautiful album to be treasured forever if you’d like.

It’s a mega important day and your photos are the only way you’re going to remember it for years to come. It’s therefore really important to 100% trust your photographer so that you can completely relax! This is why I always like to have a video call to get to know each other and for you to ask any questions you’d like.

I always have a back-up for everything I use! On the day of your wedding I’ll shoot using two cameras which both have two memory cards – the photos on each camera are recorded twice. When I get home all the photos are copied onto 4 separate hard drives. It’s perhaps a bit overkill but I think it’s worth it for peace of mind.

I’m always available for any questions in the run-up to your wedding by WhatsApp or email. We’ll also chat a second time a couple of weeks before your wedding to run through everything.

I love shooting a diverse range of weddings with a diverse range of people. LGBTQ+, multiple cultures, ages from 20s to 80s, different body sizes… I’m a people lover and just love seeing people in love!

I am insured and also have public liability insurance (£10 million!)

I’m a super sociable person with lots of photographer buddies. So in the unlikely event that I am super-poorly and can’t shoot your wedding, I have a network of dozens of awesome wedding photographer friends to call upon who will save the day. (So far I’ve had zero sick days. I’m a healthy food eating, non-drinking, non-smoking, swimming, lots of sleeping, nerd!)

I’ve shot hundreds of weddings over 19 years and have developed a sixth sense of where to be to get the shot!

I’ve also won photography awards from Fearless Photographers, Nine Dots, The Masters of Wedding Photography, Wedisson, Wedaward and The Wedding Industry Experts.

I offer full day and micro wedding packages. I love to capture all the emotions from the day so that you can re-live all the joy via your photos and film. For a full day, I’ll be with you from the morning preparations through to the party in the evening.

Why I Became A Wedding Photographer in Norfolk

My wife and I moved to “The Fine City” of Norwich in 2016 with very little research into Norwich or indeed Norfolk. It was more a gut-feeling thing than anything else and it turned out that trusting our gut was absolutely the right thing to do! We love both Norwich and Norfolk as somewhere to live, explore and enjoy. Norwich is such a friendly, lovely little city with tons of independent pubs, restaurants and shops. The Lanes have tons of character and St Benedicts boasts lots of cool places like The Arboretum and Bicycle Shop and Norwich Art’s Centre. It’s a really fun and picturesque place to have a little photoshoot after a wedding at Norwich Castle. For a wedding reception, there are plenty of fantastic, unique places, e.g, The Bowling House, The Assembly House or The Georgian Townhouse. I also love being a wedding photographer in Norfolk! Nelson’s County is a stunning place to get married and has tons of gorgeous wedding venues. We’re lucky to have the Broads National Park here, a beautiful sprawling bio-diverse area with sailing boats meandering the waterways in the spring and summer. The beaches are also well-known for their beauty with lots of lovely spots like Holkham, Thornham and Wells. Intermingled within all of this are some truly unique venues to suit all tastes. From characterful barn venues like Godwick Great Barn, boutique hotels by the coast like Titchwell Manor or beautiful, hidden dry-hire gems like Thurning Hall.
