Why Couples Choose Me

Natural

I focus on real moments as they happen – the laughter, the emotion and the little interactions you might otherwise miss.

Nothing forced or awkward. Just honest photographs that bring you straight back to how your wedding day felt.

Relaxed Approach

Your wedding day should feel relaxed and enjoyable, not like a photoshoot.

I work quietly and unobtrusively so you can be fully present with the people you love. Many couples tell me it feels like having another friend at the wedding.

Experience

I photographed my first wedding in 2005, and since then I’ve captured celebrations of all shapes and sizes.

From intimate gatherings to big celebrations, I know how to adapt and help the day flow smoothly.

Frequently Asked Questions

Not at all! Most couples tell me exactly the same thing. My job isn’t to make you pose like models – it’s to help you relax and enjoy the day.

I’ll give gentle guidance when needed, but most of the time I simply capture the natural moments as they unfold. Before long you’ll forget the camera is even there, and that’s when the best photos happen.

People often comment on how happy everyone looks in my photos – and that’s exactly what I love to capture. I’m drawn to moments full of genuine joy and connection. They’re the kind of photos I treasure of my own family, and the kind I love creating for others too.

To capture those moments, I focus on helping people feel relaxed and comfortable, even if they usually don’t enjoy having their photo taken. The result is natural, candid images filled with real emotion.

No awkward posing – just the real joy of your wedding day, captured in a way that lets you relive it again and again.

My aim is always to create photographs that will bring the feeling of the day flooding back for years to come.

Great wedding photography is about much more than just having a good camera. Experience, timing and the ability to read a moment all make a huge difference.

Over the years I’ve photographed hundreds of weddings and developed a sixth sense for anticipating the moments that matter – the laughter, the quiet glances, the hugs and the happy chaos on the dance floor.

Just as importantly, it’s about making people feel comfortable so they can be themselves. When everyone feels relaxed, the photos naturally reflect the real joy of the day.

Yes – I’m a hybrid shooter, which means I can capture both photography and video during your wedding day. I’d love to create a beautiful highlight film for you – a short, cinematic way to relive the atmosphere, movement and emotion of the day alongside your photos.

Many couples tell me their highlight film becomes one of their favourite ways to relive the day.

Yes! I love capturing a full wedding day and the rollercoaster of emotions that come with it. But I also really enjoy photographing smaller, more intimate celebrations.

During the quieter months or mid-week, I regularly photograph micro weddings at Norwich Castle and other Norfolk venues. These weddings can be wonderfully relaxed, personal, and full of meaningful moments.

If you’re planning a smaller celebration, feel free to get in touch and we can see if the date works.

Yes, absolutely! So far Australia has been the furthest I’ve travelled for a wedding.

While I’m based in Norwich as a Norfolk wedding photographer, I regularly travel to photograph weddings across the UK and beyond. I love discovering new venues and locations.

I often photograph weddings across Suffolk, Cambs, Essex, as well as further afield at places like Hadsham Farm in Oxfordshire and various London venues including The Asylum Chapel, Balfour St Bart’s, One Whitehall Place and Islington Town Hall.

If you’re planning a wedding further afield, feel free to get in touch – I’d love to hear about it.

You’ll receive hundreds of beautifully edited photographs in your own private online gallery. From there, you can easily download your images, share them with friends and family, and order high-quality prints.

If you’d like something a little more tangible, I can also create a beautiful wedding album – a timeless way to relive your day and treasure those memories for years to come.

II usually deliver your full gallery within around 4-6 weeks. During the busy summer months it can sometimes take a little longer.

Shortly after the wedding I’ll also send you some preview photos, so you have a few images to enjoy and share while the full gallery is being prepared.

Your photos are incredibly important, so I never rush the editing process. I take great care to ensure every image looks its very best and reflects my signature vibrant style.

As soon as you have your venue and date confirmed, it’s a good idea to start looking for your photographer. Popular dates – especially Saturdays between May and September – often book up 12–18 months in advance.

That said, it’s always worth asking. Sometimes I still have availability closer to the date, particularly for mid-week weddings or during the quieter months

Your wedding is a hugely important day, and the photographs will be one of the main ways you remember it for years to come. That’s why it’s so important to feel completely comfortable with your photographer. When you trust the person behind the camera, you can truly relax and enjoy the day.

To help with that, I always like to have a video call before booking. It’s a chance for us to get to know each other and for you to ask anything you’d like. I also have lots of lovely reviews from past couples that you’re very welcome to read.

There are also a few practical things that give extra peace of mind:

Your photos are extremely safe.
On your wedding day I shoot with two cameras, each recording every photo to two memory cards. When I get home, everything is backed up to four separate hard drives. It might sound like overkill, but when it comes to wedding photos I think peace of mind is worth it.

I’m here for you throughout the process.
You can contact me any time in the run-up to your wedding by WhatsApp or email. We’ll also have another chat a couple of weeks before the big day to run through everything together.

Everyone is welcome.
I love photographing a diverse range of weddings with a diverse range of people — LGBTQ+ couples, different cultures, ages from 20s to 80s, all shapes and sizes. I’m a people person and simply love seeing people in love.

I’m fully insured.
I carry professional insurance as well as £10 million public liability cover.

I have a strong backup network.
I’m part of a big community of wedding photographers. In the extremely unlikely event that I were suddenly unwell and couldn’t attend, I have a network of talented photographer friends who could step in. (Thankfully in 19 years I’ve never had a sick day!)

Experience matters.
I’ve photographed hundreds of weddings over the past 19 years and have developed a sixth sense for anticipating the moments that matter most.

Industry recognition.
My work has also been recognised with awards from Fearless Photographers, Nine Dots, The Masters of Wedding Photography, Wedisson, Wedaward and The Wedding Industry Experts.

Get in touch – I’d love to hear about your plans and answer anything you’d like to know.

Norfolk & Norwich Wedding Photography

Being a Norfolk Wedding Photographer is honestly such a joy – this county has my heart! I never get tired of exploring Norfolk’s stunning countryside, with its wide-open skies, peaceful woodlands and picturesque coastline. Whether I’m photographing a relaxed seaside wedding at Titchwell Manor (love those sunset views!) or capturing the rustic charm and epic views at Godwick Hall, there’s always something inspiring about every wedding here. Pentney Abbey is another favourite – it’s got that perfect blend of historic drama and modern comfort. And Elms Barn is just bursting with character, gorgeous gardens, and charm – a total dream for relaxed, beautiful wedding days.

As a Norwich Wedding Photographer, I also absolutely love shooting in the city. Norwich has such a warm, friendly vibe – it’s full of history, colour, and quirky corners that make it perfect for weddings. I especially love capturing micro-weddings at Norwich Castle – it’s such a unique and intimate spot, and I’m lucky enough to be there regularly. Check out my Norwich Wedding Venue Guide for more city wedding ideas!

I’m incredibly grateful to have received over 120 5-star reviews on Google from my amazing couples – it means the world. I genuinely can’t wait to photograph even more weddings in Norfolk and all over the UK over the coming months and keep doing what I love in this beautiful part of the world.
