Top 20 Norfolk Wedding Venues
The Best Wedding Venues in Norfolk
Norfolk is a fantastic place to get married. It’s natural beauty from The Broads to the North Norfolk coast, make it a UK favourite place to get hitched. Norfolk is blessed with an abundance of varied and beautiful wedding venues. I know them well and love capturing my couples having the best days of their lives at them.

Before we view the list, let’s make an important distinction…
Wet Hire Vs. Dry Hire Wedding Venues

What is A Dry Hire Wedding Venue?
A dry hire venue is one where you’re just hiring the space.
Pros
It’s a place where you’ll have artistic freedom to create a wedding that is exactly how you’d like it; from the food and drinks down to the tables and chairs. You can provide your own booze (no corkage) and will not be to tied to a list of caterers. The cost for the venue will likely be cheaper.
Cons
You likely won’t have a wedding co-ordinator supplied to help you plan your wedding and ensure everything runs smoothly on the day. You’ll have to research, book and co-ordinate multiple suppliers. Great planning is essential, e.g. where to find a PA system for the speeches, who will be in the a tidy-up team, etc. This can make a D.I.Y. wedding stressful for some couples.

What is a Wet Hire Wedding Venue?
You’re not just hiring the space but a range of services including a well stocked bar.
Pros
A wedding co-ordinator will help you plan your wedding and make suggestions on timings, etc. You won’t need to worry about how many bottles of wine to buy, what size marquee you need, etc. They will provide the catering, a bar and a team of people to ensure everything runs smoothly on your wedding day. It’s the more stress-free option of the two. If you find a venue that matches your wedding vision, you’re golden.
Cons
You will likely be limited to some extent on food options. You also won’t be able to ply everyone with free drinks unless you provide a very substantial bar tab. You must also ensure that you have a co-ordinator whose views align with your own vision.
