2020 was an almost total wipeout for weddings thanks to covid. In total contrast 2021 was absolutely nuts! Restrictions were lifted in May and the craziness ensued from there. Fitting in most of my 2020 and 2021 into 8 months was tricky but getting back to capturing the joy of wedding days after was fantastic!

All of my couples did amazingly well at moving their dates (sometimes several times) during what must have been a really stressful time. Their weddings felt all the more special for finally having the day they wanted after battling with all the changes and uncertainty.

Altogether I captured 40 weddings in Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Cambridgeshire and London and had 5 fantastic photographers shoot another 5 for me. As always the weddings had really varied venues – barns, farms, country houses, town houses, museums, campsites, tipis, churches, hotels and castles! All the couples however had one thing in common: they all wanted natural photos so that they could re-live their wedding day through their photographs. That and colourful, fun images that really captured the joy of their once-in-a-lifetime day.

Here is just a handful of the hundreds of thousands of photos that I took. I haven’t included any from the 5 weddings the other photographers shot for me as I don’t want to take any credit for those. There is also one frame I took during a proposal! Enjoy!
