Creeksea Place in Burnham-on-Crouch, Essex is a stunner of a wedding venue. It’s a huge Tudor Manor House set in beautiful grounds near the River Crouch. Amelia and Matthew clearly have excellent taste and I was only too pleased to be their Creeksea Place Wedding Photographer for the day! Not least because of Amelia and Matthew themselves. Childhood sweethearts who were clearly adored by all of their friends and family, Amelia and Matthew were an absolute pleasure to work with and I’m happy to call them friends myself now too.
Amelia is one of those people who will always put others before herself and wears her emotions on her sleeve. As such she was a dream to photograph – there were many happy tears! She got ready mainly in the grounds as it was such a nice morning. The ceremony took place outside in the orchard complete with pretty flower arches over the grass aisle. It was an emotional service that also saw a little rain but not enough to dampen spirits at all.
The gardens to the back of the house were equally stunning with a Victorian bridge over a lake at the bottom. It was here that the rest of the day took place. A permanent marquee housed everyone for the speeches, food and evening party but the guests regularly took advantage of the lovely grounds and the outdoor games on offer too.
DJ Rav C put on an incredible show complete with huge glow sticks and had everyone dancing until very late. Ravi is a super nice guy as well as top DJ so check him out if you’re in need of a wedding DJ.
Also worthy of a big mention is my super talented girlfriend and Rachael who ran our Photobooth that night. Follow the link to see another side to Matthew and Amelia’s wedding!
Thank you so much for an incredible day Amelia and Matthew! It was a real pleasure being your Creeksea Place Wedding Photographer.

I loved being an Creeksea Place Wedding Photographer for the day and would love to go back sometime so if you’re thinking of having your wedding at a stunning Tudor Manor house in the Essex countryside get in touch!
