When Zoe and Mark asked me to be their Sydney Wedding Photographer I have to admit I was a little bit excited. I absolutely love Australia. I’d been privileged to shoot a gorgeous wedding in Melbourne a little while back and having travelled up the East and West coasts on previous trips smiling my face off every mile of the journey, I had an inkling that this wedding could be a bit special. Zoe and Mark decided to embrace perhaps the best thing Australia has to offer and get married outside with a stunning view of the ocean. Their ceremony took place at the lovely Robert Dunn Reserve in Mona Vale, one of Sydney’s northern beaches. It was a bright breezy day and the champagne was flowing at Zoe’s family home near Manly where her and her bridesmaids got ready. It was a short car ride to the cliff top where Zoe and Mark were married by a cheerful celebrant with a wicked sense of humour! We headed down to the beach below for some fun taking a few shots of the bridal party, including an encounter with a swimmer who blissfully unaware swam into one of the shots! It wasn’t long before we hit the local Austrian (no, not a typo) beer hall, Das Bierhaus, for some steins of cool beer, speeches, an epic cake and crazy late night swing dancing! It certainly was a trip I won’t be forgetting for some time. Amazing people, amazing couple. Thanks for inviting me to the party!
If you or someone you know of is need of a destination wedding photographer who is more than happy to jump on a plane to almost anywhere in the world, please do get in touch. Even if it’s far away you may be surprised at how my prices compare to local photographers. I enjoy travelling so I try to keep any extra charges for travel to a minimum. If you’d like to see some more of my photos, check out my portfolio.
